No, just because you pay your debt doesn’t mean you will get a bonus favor. The account will be updated as “paid” with a zero balance, but will still be on your report. If you have to pay off an older debt (less than 24 months or can’t be removed through deletion process), please make sure to request that it be removed permanently from your report.
